MicSwap Pro Microphone Modeler App Reviews

10 add

Beautiful, but...

You cant record with professional formats. Only in .m4a!!! Its a toy. Bad joke with your money.

Very cool tool

Not sure how close these would be to the real thing but honestly... Who cares? It gives a bunch different tonal qualities to whatever mic you throw at it which is very functional and fun. Only complaint is that the different "studios" are just pictures of the rooms and have no effect on your voice. Thought they would be different reverb simulations, hopefully in a future update.

Great app!!!

I bought micswap first and have been using this pro version for a while. This app is awesome. Well done. Thanks!!

Great!

The app works flawlessly. Using it in the studio and it works great. Its now part of my work flow. Solid!

So far so good

Works great for me. When used with vocalive or tc effect via audiobus, adds even more dimension to the app

Lots of Improvements Needed

Crashes incessantly. Especially ωнen importing frσm another app or a long recording session. Please FIX ASAP. Αnd more Mocs or a pack of voice effects тσ purchase within тнe app maybe? Gimme some variety.

Voice memos no more!

Apples old voice memos used to be great and this app brings back its best parts. Then it goes way further and wins the phone recording game. Hope that someday there can be a metronome beat/light and tempo control so I can record in time. My workaround is i imported some beats at different tempos. Loving this app so far. UPDATE:: The latest version is even better!

Close to the real thing

I have experience with a few of the microphones in this app, particularly the Royer ribbon, and Im really impressed how well it captures the sonic signature. I want more models and more flexibility in using two mics at once in classic stereo micing techniques like mid-side and more ability to move the microphone in the space.

Love this app!

Runs super smooth and solid! Im using it with an iRig mic into protools. I tried the free version then bought this. The mics are all distinctly unique sounding. The ms-sga is my favorite with a cool old timey narrow frequency sound. its pretty great to flip through different mis for inspiration when Im writing. So glad to have this new tool! I also use it to jot down ideas.

Really amazing app!!!

I dont know how they did it, but this thing really works! Definitely worth the $20. I dont have to go crazy adding all these plugins trying to make my voice sound professional with the cheap mic I have. This made my job easier. Now, I cant record without it. Using it with an iPad Pro and Cubasis app, works flawlessly! Good job guys! Maybe on a future update you can add like a more closed in vocal booth.
